From a Truck Stop to Sophisticated Puebla

We hit the road early after a cozy sleep in Honey. The kilometers were flying by and before we knew it, we approached the city of Puebla.

What a beautiful surprise! Cobblestone, trees, colorful colonial houses, spectacular churches and official buildings, incredible art, lighting and parks. This city has it all, classy people too! We cleaned up our act at the cheapest hotel with parking ($15) that we could find. We then took a romantic stroll around town and had a pleasant dinner overlooking the Zocalo.

We returned for an early night in preparation for our drive tomorrow. By the sounds of it, we are not the only couple in the hotel. Good night!
