The surf-lifestyle-brand Hurley is lucky to have Chris working with them and we are lucky to be friends with Chris.
After a visit to the VIP lounge at the Hurley PRO yesterday he took us for a tour at the Hurley HQ at Costa Mesa today.
The Hurley HQ was by no means a normal office setting. Although, remember we are engineers! The Hurley campus consists if several buildings, including a skate park and a recording studio. In Chris’s office most walls were plywood, there was lots of funky artwork and tall ceilings. It was really fun to get an insight into the business and a little look at what styles will be coming. We also got great explanations as to the technology that goes into making board shorts. Cool stuff.
The office was full of Hurley products as well as art/fabrics/items as inspiration for their coming products. Very cool!
